VCM Exposure Standard A hearing was held on December 13, 1974 in the New York Second District Court of Appeals with reference to the newly passed VCM exposure standard set to go into affect on January 1, 1975. As a result of this hearing a stay order has been issued related to the new law such that the court can further study the matter. Until the court makes its final determination, the temporary standard of 50 ppm exposure level without protection will remain in effect as it has been since its adoption early in 1974.
