Dear Vinyl Chloride Transportation Committee Members:
This is to confirm the Transportation Committee meeting, scheduled for March 28, 1996, will be held at CMA's new location, 1300 Wilson Boulevard, Rosslyn, Virginia. There also will be a dinner meeting on March 27,1996. The agenda for the meeting and information about the dinner will follow. If you would like a map of the area or hotel information, please let me know.
I have several news items for you. We are currently preparing the VCNet Operations and Safety Awareness Training Manuals, and will send you copies in about two weeks. George Marshall has received the video script from Gerry Portis, and will be working with Vergel Perry to prepare the first draft for the Committee's review at the March 28 meeting.
I have not yet received commitment forms or payments from Georgia Gulf or Shintech, and am still waiting for payments from Dow, Formosa, and PPG. Please follow up on the status of the commitments and payments within your companies.
Carol Toth has returned from maternity leave and will be following up with Allen Roberts of Department of Transportation on our petition for rule making for shipping name marking requirement.
