The somewhat tentative diagnosis of disseminated sclerosis suggested by Dr, Ashby is the nearest approach to a conclusion* I should say that any disability which this man may have as a result of a progressing disease, suoh as disseminated sclerosis, should lend itself to diagnosis the more readily, the longer it is allowed to develop. Therefore If this case should come to litigation at some later time, it should presumably be easier to make d diagnosis then than it has been in the past or than it is at present* Therefore I should not feel that any action is necessary at this time* If lead is suspected or suggested as a toxic cause of his illness, the evidence to this effect will be no easier to demonstrate now than at a later date. If there Is latei? cause for action, the logical tiling would appear to bo that of putting him in the hands of a competent man for a thoroughwgolng study and a diagnosis* .
