DeBernardi Date September 24, 1980 Subject Capital AFE Submittal - Fourth Quarter, 1980 An AFE covering Item V-6, EDC Dock Emissions Control, in the 1980 Capital Budget will be submitted for approval in December. This project was moved to a low priority in our work schedule due to the slowdown of EDC sales in 1980 and a similar situation projected for 1981. The project is in the budget for $202M, however, we intend to re-evaluate the scope of the project in an attempt to minimize the capital requirement while attaining a reduction of employee EDC exposure during loading operations. We will be taking a hard look at the necessity of installing fixed point monitors for EDC at the dock at this time. Please advise if there are any questions or comments. J. A.
