I'm extremely troubled by reports that the EPA has indefinitely postponed its ban on Methylene Chloride. (EPA-HQ-OPPT-2016-0231 -0001 ). Protecting American consumers and workers from dangerous chemicals is at the core of your agency's mission. This product was banned in Europe in 2013. The longer these rules are delayed, the more workers and consumers will be needlessly exposed to toxic chemicals with serious, well-documented health risks. Drew would be alive today but because of your delaying tactics he is dead. Action on this toxic chemical is long overdue. I urge the EPA to reconsider its decision to delay rule making process.
