Wormsor Lead Industries Association I|20 Lexington Avenue Hew York City Dear Mr. Wormsers I recognise the truth of your statements in your letter cf January lbrth and because I do recognise this situation and because we In this laboratory now have available information which clarifies a number of points about which there has been previous doubt* I am preparing for publication a series of articles which will settle, I believe, certain of the points about which there has been doubt for some considerable period of time* In these articles we shall be able to lay the basis, I believe, for a satisfactory diagnosis of load poisoning, one which will wipe out some of the most obvious abuses in the working of compensation laws You ar quite right In ascribing these abuses chiefly to the loop holes which exist In the diagnosis of 'lead poisoning. `These loop holes are for the most part capable of being plugged by the application of present available information. 1 shall be glad to supply you with reprints of*these articles when they appear.
