I am attaching a "primer" TNC prepared for the Administration in 2017 when I was asked to participate in a planning session on infrastructure with 5 or 6 Cabinet members, following by a White House lunch with the President and others. I have also included a list of sample projects that we provided the White House that illustrate the sorts of opportunities for using "nature" for infrastructure I share this because there is some relevance to Interior; possibly some shared opportunities if the Administration proceeds with an infrastructure initiative of some sort; and even if such an effort stalls in any way, there are some concepts here that present some funding possibilities that do not rely upon Interiorappropriated dollars yet may allow for investment in DOI-managed lands/waters.
