This, in effect, means that we may no longer specify materials which contain asbestos, even though asbestos has not been totally banned from industry use. Please advise us of any materials which your company manufactures or distributes for building construction use containing asbestos. Also, if possible, advise of alternate materials which you manufacture which do not contain asbestos. We will review these and attempt to insert alternate materials into our specifications.
