No facility representatives were present at the time of the inspection. The inspection was conducted by the authority of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to determine compliance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. There were no other federal, state, or local agency representatives present at the time of the inspection. FACILITY DESCRIPTION EPA conducted an inspection on the Bonds Company Production, LLC / Curry Lease Tank Battery facility, which contains six (6) tanks for crude oil and saltwater storage and one (1) pump outside secondary containment used for saltwater injection into nearby Class II Saltwater Disposal (SWD) wells. For additional GPS location and photo metadata, see Appendix 1. I observed an active leak of crude oil inside secondary containment, see Photo No. 2. I observed the saltwater storage tank that was actively leaking during the 03/05/2025 inspection had been repaired, see Photo No. 3. I observed the drainpipe that was actively discharging during the 03/05/2025 inspection had been closed and capped, see Photo No. 4. I observed the two (2) couplings that were actively leaking during the 03/05/2025 inspection had been repaired, see Photos No. 5 and No. 6. I observed the surrounding area and vegetation in the vicinity of the 03/05/2025 saltwater release from the couplings, see Photo No. 7. I observed the pump for the SWD wells, see Photo No. 8. Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN No closing conference was held due to no personnel with Bonds Company Production, LLC being present during the inspection. Areas of concern at the time of the inspection include the following: Loose crude oil and saltwater from an SWD pump outside secondary containment (Photo No. 8), Loose crude oil inside secondary containment (Photo No. 2), and Residual crude oil at the drainpipe for the tank battery (Photo No. 4).
