Some points that Union Carbide made are: _ They think that entering and hand-cleaning of PVC blenders is the most likely route of exposure to suspect chemicals. _ VCM is not a suspect. _ The excess cancers that they mentioned occurred in workers assigned more than sixteen years to PVC and polyethylene areas. _ Cadmium, lead suspects. and some plasticizers are This particular issue relates to pancreatic cancer.
