Comment:
The 1961 program reflects the desire of the Metal Sales Department to agressively promote the sale of the Bunker Hill line of metals and alloys, at the same time de-emphasizing advertising on fabricated lead goods. Moreover, it is proposed that gamma shielding be given greater attention. Also, provision is made for exhibits in important Trade Shows during the year.

Mr. Johnston Comments on the proposed increase of about $6, 500 as follows: "The increase is due to the fact that the character of our business is changing and a greater percentage of our sales and the potential for the future is in chemicals of Titanium and Zirconium. This change is one that we have worked and planned for for a number of years.
"As a consequence, we are reducing the amount of advertising space for our ceramic products and substituting therefor space in chemical industry magazines whose space rates are substantially higher.
"We are in the process of building a new chemical plant at Niagara Falls, and we feel that in the year 1961 we must give as much help as possible to our Sales Department."
