Wow before closing, what about the future outlook of lead production In Canada? At this stage it appears that tha sine production of lead will con tinue at about the snae or perh-po slightly higher level of the past few years. Present indications are that the 1952 production will be In the neighbourhood of 175.000 to 150,000 tons of recovereblt lead or sosnrhst higher than that for tht year 195D. This will represent a gain of about 101 over the 1951 production. Sines all of the land ained in Canada is associated to a greater or leaeer degree with other netals, chiefly tine, at least part of tha future dne production will depend on a continuing daaand and prosperity for tha white aetal. With respect to refined lead, the presont outlook indicate* a Canadian production of approximately 170.000 for 1952. This will bo about the sane at that in 1950 and about over that for last year.
