United Sierra's Beaver White 325 is their best suggested alternate to the Nytal for products that would come out of Montana and would be competitive price-wise for plAnts in the East versus the pricing on :-lytal 300. The Mistron 13? currently used by the West Coast under code 62-32-00 would be the closest match for Nytal having a 4 - 4\~ grind versus the !076 currently under code 62-33-00 which has a grind of 6. These two materi~ls, price-wise, would be the best alternates for the West Coast. In reference to the Pfizer =aterials, we first want to clarify that Microtalc MP30-6 mentioned in your letter of March 14th should actually be MP30-'36. Pfizer's coding system is set up as follows. The first letter of the product code, M or G indic.'.>.tes manufacturing location, either Montana or California. llle next letter, either P or r, indicates the type o( Talc, either platey or fibrous. The next two digits indicates the top size of the material and the last two digits indicates the oil absorption. Pfizer is suggesting their CP Talcs for the West Coast from the standpoint of pricing. They would be able to offer these materials at a competitive price for that area.
