Blazquazi Flosal^ Asbestos Fiberib-39-7D j | Mr. jack Sauber wrote to nia vdiile he was on his recent European trip asking that I confirm the composition of our Flosal fiber. I asked our supplier, Johns-MJanvilla, Tor a statement from then. It was a little slow forthcoming so :fr. Sauber returned to Bartlesville before I could get an answer to you. I am enclosing! Johns-Manville*s reply. Flosal asbestos fiber is, indeed, Canadian chrysotile asbestos. Asbestos coming from different locations or even from different parts of the same deposit may differ slightly in color. Me have furnished Flosal fiber which has varied from nearly snow white to a slightly graylab-vhite. Aerial which nas a little gray cplor in it is darkened by moisture. Chemically, there is no difference, ifo have never tried to detormina why some material is off-white, but I canassure you that there is no crocidolite _ , i in Flosal fiber. It is pure chrysotile.
