Someone needs to check the pump and the level in the secondary tank. (North Port) 3.3 If the level is at the high stage, the pump needs to be primed in order to get the level down in the secondary pump. 3.4 Put pump switch gear in manual. If discharge pressure will not come up, block in pump discharge valve and back wash pump with process H20. Check pump seal flush H20 for plugging. 3.5 If you cannot prime the pump: 3.5.1 A maintenance request needs to be put into the system to have the pump repaired as soon as possible. 3.5.2 Reduce as much water as possible going to the septic tank. 3.5.3 Determine whether there is enough space left in the secondary tank to last until the next working day. 3.5.4 If there is not enough space in the secondary tank, call out the maintenance supervisor to get a sump truck to suck out the secondary tank.
