EPA 18cv3472 NDCA Tier 10 ED 002061 00157584-00001 Greetings, All 3 of you will be participating in the upcoming NACAA meeting in Seattle, WA during the panel entitled, "Cooperative Federalism: How Are Federal, State, and Local Roles Changing?" Just as a reminder, the session is on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 10:30 -11:30 a.m. Ken Zarker requested information on who else is speaking. Now that all the names for the panel are set, I thought all of you may like to know who else will be participating. I am copying all 3 of you, in case you would like to contact any of the others. Moderator: Dave Klemp, Chief of the Montana Air Quality Bureau in the Department of Environmental Quality and also NACAA Co-President Speakers: Aaron Ringel, Deputy Associate Administrator in the EPA Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations. We've asked him to spend about 20 minutes speaking about what EPA means when it talks about "cooperative federalism" and how the agency plans to implement this vision. Ken Zarker is with the Washington State Department of Ecology. We've asked him to spend about 20 minutes talking about ECOS's "Cooperative Federalism 2.0." The remainder of the hour will be set aside for Qand A and discussion. Thanks for participating. I look forward to seeing you in Seattle.
