Plant personnel will begin review of Engineering Flow Diagrams on 10/23/67 - Ray. Need tank farm approval by 11/6/67. Cannot complete schedule on equipment design until a design schedule for spec sheets is completed - Fullgraf. Mr. Bremer suggested we code the tank farm to Area 2. Yates will advise. Mr. Bremer suggested we review Procedures 104 and 118 so that we would be familiar with coding of requisitions and purchase orders. He pointed out some of the recent changes such as wiring for instruments to Code 04, pip ing for instruments to Code 04. Motor control center building and Foreman's office to Code 09. Mr. Bremer requested copy of project estimate work sheets, Mr. Dygert copy of electrical estimate work sheet, and Mr. Vehige copy of instrument estimate work sheets - Yates. 01* TOWOLDMONOQ45169 2 October 23, 2967 Mode 1 a Tank Farm The tank farm preliminary model will be reviewed by plant personnel and as soon as approved, Mr. Trigg will start definitive piping. We will not make a finished model of this area, and piping drawings will consist of plans and elevations. Plant review will be complete by 10/25/67 - Ray. b. A review17 2o* *f* *the model by Mr. Clayton brought the sug gestion that the existing 1254 tank be made into a 1248 tank. This will result, in the elimination of one pump and filter from the project. Messrs. Yates and Ray reviewed this and will make a final decision by 10/25/67. c. Manufacturing Area As soon as tank farm preliminary is complete, Mr. Farroll will begin work on the mfg, area preliminary model. Process and ACM Design PD sheets on the chlorinator area are complete and are being reviewed. Expected date of issue for design 10/25/67. Additional information on the Alsop filter for the tank farm has been requested of the manufacturer. We expect this information by 10/25/67 - Bill Das. Motor Control Center and Office 1. We will add louvres to the M.C.C. area to provide ventilation. Louvres should be so designed as to allow for wall type exhaust fan if required Fullgraf to specify. 2. M.C.C. will set on concrete curbing but this can be added at a later date. b. Office At the conclusion of the meeting Messrs. Fontaine, Ray, Kick and Yates reviewed office details. CED will develop detail showing method of cover ing existing windows. 3. Floor will be covered with vinyl asbestos tile. 4. No floor drains will be installed but floor should slope to main entrance door. 5. Will install insulated ceiling. 6. Will use colored masonite paneling on walls. 7. Will install safety glass in entrance door. 5) Soil Tests A package specification has been completed and sent to Mr. Clifton for execution. Plant permission has been granted to start boring tests on 10/24/67. 6) General Aroclor furnace must be located at least 50 feet from Item 401.
