Attached is a survey and a letter from our program chairman, Herm Waltemate, requesting imput from you concerning the 1983 agenda. Please take a few minutes to give your preference for topics of interest and let him know if you can participate in the program. The 1983 meeting will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, October 20 and 21, at the Marriot Hotel. A block of rooms is being held and each of you should make reservations directly with the hotel. You should plan to arrive Wednesday October 19. We have negotiated a discount rate of $85.00 single/$105.00 double per night. Be sure to tell the hotel you are attending the VCSA meeting and are therefore entitled to the discount rate. The hotel will require either a charge card number or one nights room charge in advance to guarentee your reservation. The cut off date for holding rooms is September 28. Make reservations soon. In reviewing several of the surveys taken previously and agendas of past meetings, the true confression of case histories receive the most interest. This is true even when reviewing old case histories. On that basis, I would like to have several presentations on old case histories which contain a valuable learning experience. A discussion should take place on the corrective action taken and the effectiveness of the corrective action.
