The only dust count made at the batch operation was no. 1. This waj taken in the batch house itself and not at furnace charging. Hence, it is not directly applicable to Mr. Daniells1 case. We didn't take a dust count during furnace charging because there is no dust exposure here. The batch is transported from the batch horse to tte furnaces in monorail buckets. \ bucket is positioned over the doghouse of the furnace and allowed to "choke15 feed into the furnace. There is no fall of batch through the air and hence no dust. Samples 2 and 3 relate to a product in the developmental stage and have nothing to do with furnace operation. We'd appreciate it if you would handle this report in confidence, since it touches ori certain operations in the developmental stage and informa tion cn these, of course, is not usually givnn outside the Tech Center.
