Penrose Ethyl Antiknock, Ltd44 King Street West Toronto I, Canada Dear Ben: The samples of urine from the group of employees of Toronto Iroa Works have been received and analysed, and in the absence of Doctor Sa:nders, who will not return until the end of the month, it seems advisable to report the results to you without delay, I also send two copies of the report in case it is desirable to have them as evidence of my statement. I am not sure that they need formal reporting to you or to Doctor Griffin, but if the latter obtained the samples for us, a copy of the report should go to hip:,-n. You will know this and can be guided accordingly. As the interpretation of the report indicates, these I'esults are within normal limits, and although any one individual in the group may have had some slight recent exposure to lead, which does not show' up in these results!, just as a matter of chance variation, the uniformity of the eight results may best be regarded as evidence that the group a3 a whole took appropriate precautions and thereby avoided any significant lead absorption.
