SDRX 6115 was last cleaned on February 5, 1934, then made one tri] in heating oil, one trip in kerosene and two trips in 2IC 'asoline prior to cleaning.

The only sample in which we were able to detect a measurable amour of lead were two sludge and scale samples from SDRX 8159 in which we found small amounts of water- insoluble lead compounds* We do not know whether or not thi3 quantity is significant or whether the lead in the v/ater in soluble form is dangerous. However, pending definite advice on this point it will probably be worth while to at least continue sampling gasoline cars as they are cleaned and in addition t e should probably make an e ffort to clean an ethyl car and examine the same set of samples taken during its cleaning.
