Dear all,
One more paper (sorry): While the previous papers address specific issues/topics, this one describes more holistically what we believe the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability should be about. There is some overlap with the reflection papers but this is the broader picture: `substance' for discussion tomorrow.
With regards,

Subject: Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability
Dear all,
Ahead of our (virtual) meeting tomorrow, we have been reflecting on specific topics that we expect to be part of the future chemicals strategy for sustainability and would like to offer our thoughts/specific proposals. The attached papers are meant to be reflection/discussion papers. They cover:
Safe and sustainable by design Enforcement and enforceability Endocrine disruptors Simplification of chemicals legislation Combined exposure / mixtures
I apologise for sending this last minute before the meeting (consultation with members was very
intense). We don't have to cover the specifics of these papers tomorrow,
can
summarise them. We would still welcome some feedback or more targeted discussions in the
future.
We are still reflecting on `One Substance, One (hazard) Assessment' so this topic is not
addressed here. I hope we can send you our thoughts on this topic soon.
Looking forward to our discussion,
Best regards,
