The primary goal {n the final two phases of this study was to understand the mechanisms of contaminant migration from the shallow groundwater to the deep aquifers, and based on this knowledge, develop a remedial action plan that would remove the primary sources of contamination and control the movement of contaminants into the deep aquifers underlying the site.
