Slagle is responsible for the commercial operations of the Volvo Group's truck brands (Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks) in North America. Prior to his current position, Mr. Slagle was executive vice president of Volvo Group Trucks Sales & Marketing Americas, and president and CEO of Mack Trucks, Inc. and Volvo Trucks North America. Mr. Slagle has also served as president and CEO of Volvo Construction Equipment North America, now headquartered in Shippensburg, PA. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the North American construction equipment industry, including serving as president of L.B. Smith, Inc., Volvo Construction Equipment's largest North American dealer at the time. Mr. Slagle earned his B.S. degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
