Attached is a complaint alleging that Lucite 50 C House Paint caused stomach problems when used outside. With all the paint we have sold, I don't recall any com plaints involving this type of symptoms. Could there be anything to it, or can I reply that as far as we know, Lueite 50 C House Paint was not the causitive agent.
As far as a paint mask goes, I plan on suggest ing a Bureau of Mines approved mask, if he really wants to use one.

Dear Sir:
Subjects Paint Rumes
S.4
Last fall I bought some 50 C low gloss white Lucite House Paint to paint my House.
The notice on the Bucket warns to avoid prolong contact with the skin or breathing of spray Mist. I paint with a brush, not spray Paint.
There is about 18 inch overhang all around the house of the roof and it is hard to keep from breathing the fumes when painting under there * One evening after painting my stomach hurt. It lasted about one hour. Two days later it started at 3Am and lasted until 10 AM and
hurt so bad I could not sleep. Than for about a week. I.had trouble with the bowels moving.
1 quit painting and have not been bothered since.
How I would like to finish Painting, but afraid to breath the fumes again.
I tried at the paint store to get a filter to wear to filter out th fumes but they dont have any.
The reason I wrote I thought you could tell me where to get a reliable mask to filter out these fumes.I
I have alwalys painted with Oil paint and never have been bothered before.
This is My first explorenee with other than oil Faint.
Yours truly, Walter J, Vaughn
