It's well written, but I don't believe it. You are a member of an administration which spreads lies, doublespeak, evasions, rationalizations, and distortions from the top down. I regard the White House as the Ministry of Disinformation. Your prior record makes me concerned that you will do more to destroy the environment than to protect it. I fear that, under your leadership, EPA will turn into EDA: Environmental Destruction Agency. My beloved country is in a dark episode of its existence. Already confidence in the United States is plummeting, within the country and internationally. I hope that over time the country will recover from the havoc President Trump and his appointees, including you, are wreaking on it. You and your colleagues will have much to answer for.
