Powers - Asbestos 1500 i CORNING COMPANY q You will receive to this company a cupy of a One of the recent Technical Memorandum describing my recent visit problems which I encountered was the handling of asbestos They inquired whether we would b willing to premix asbestos with their silicone oils _ - They would determine which grades of asbestes they would want and what quantity of silicone oil would be required They would ship the oil to you you` would mix with asbestos fiber and ship the mixture to them Of course you would charge for your mixing cost and also make a profit - This appears to be a way to provide a free customized asbestos for spe- cific customers It is a little like the premix plastics industry where fillers are added to resins by a custom mixer and he sells the premixed prod- - _ uct I believe it could develop into quite a profitable business for you One of the problems would be contamination but with proper care and cleanup I believe this can be overcome Please advise your reaction to this idea If favorable I will go back to :- Corning and I am sure that they will give us a formulation for a crial . , cL a order eae nv om geet els a7Ht .
