Attached is a copy of an article from the April 15, 1966 edition of the Houston Fes:. As you will see, it reports on statements made by Dr. Arthur J. Vorwald at the Annual Meeting of the Te::as Medical Association last week.
According to Cliff Schechi er,Dr. Vorwald (who heads the
Department of Occupational a.id Environmental Health at
Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit) is
one of the most prominent pulmonary specialists in the
country.

Mr. Scheckler stated t.rar Dr. Vorwald has done work for Johns-Manville and is re yarded as a real authority and is presently doing sere :.o rk on the alleged asbestos/ lung cancer relationship in asbestos workers, under the auspices of the U. S. Public Health Service.
