Informa tion required by 40 CFR Subpart B, Par. 61.22(d) Is as follows: Name and Address of Owner E. I. du Pont'de Neiours I Company Beaumont Works ` P. 0.' Box 3269 Beaumont, Texas 77704 Description of Facilities Three (3) Vertical distillation coluans of varying size with a total of approximately 20,000 square feet of asbestos Insulation which will be removed. Location of Facilities The work will occur In the Methanol Manufacturing Area of the Beaumont Works, located on SH 347 between Beaumont and Nederland. Schedule Dates Work will commence on November 4 and will continue for approximately seven days. Nature of Work All asbestos Insulation will be removed from the columns, employing conventional tools and equipment and transported to a waste disposal site. Bradford -2- Procedures to be Employed November 3, 1982 The asbestos Insulation will be wetted prior to removal and, while still wet, placed In plastic bags which will then be sealed, properly Identified, placed In closed metal containers, and transported to a disposal site. Disposal Site The asbestos Insulation will be deposited at the Chemical Waste Management site on SH 73 approximately three miles west of the Port Arthur, Texas city limit.
