DEC 13 J967 SUBJECT: LABEL ANALYSIS TERMINOLOGY - (State of Virginia) Enclosed is a copy of a reprint of Bulletin PL-12-A as used by the State of Virginia for identifying label analyses on Trade Sales Products, There are plans to update the bulletin and revisions should, be ready by July, 1968 according to information from Virginia. All states have various requirements for label analysis to be shown on paint products; however, for convenience The Glidden Company shows one analysis on comsumer Trade Sales Products that are sold nationally, rather than providing separate labels for various states. The bulletin is being sent so that you will be aware of the requirements and also, to assist those people involved in calculating analyses for the necessary products. Any questions on labeling or labeling laws should be directed to Mr. T. M. Steppart who is in close contact with these requirements and in turn can obtain the information for you.
