The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. with the following in attendance.;

ASTM SPECIFICATION FOR STRESS CORROSION OF AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL
The DuPont, Carbide, Knowles Atomic Power Lab., and the Proposed ASTM Tests dated November 1, 1966, were discussed. It was agreed that NIKA should sup port the Proposed ASTM test.
It should be pointed cut that a test should be devised to encompass all generic types and forms of thermal insulation.
USE OF^ MIL-STD-105 FOR SAMPLING IN ASTM SPECS
It was agreed that MIL-STD-IO? was applicable for this use.
NAVAL SHI? ENGINEERING CENTER SPECS
M. Ammorth of the Naval Boiler end Turbine Laboratory is to be at the ASTM Meeting in Raleigh, N.C. J. M. Barnhart is to talh to him regarding the philosophy of these specifications.
OTHER BUSINESS
J.M. Barnhart is to draft a combination of MIL-T-2781 and MIL-I-2?8l for comments by the Committee.
