As requested, the following breakdown establishes our charges or (payments) for each individual area on a stand alone basis. We would expect a variation on the sum total depending on how many areas were done at one time. Whether utilities were moved, the time span allotted and the final specifications as written. Please note that we would expect most of these questions could be best answered on a joint effort basis, to insure the most economical time and price to complete. We will supply all necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision required to complete the dismantling as per site visit. The following applies: 1. ECO will demolish all steel, tanks, piping and equipment, including brick, concrete and steel structures, down to the concrete slabs or equipment foundation levels. 2. ECO will remove all steel and associated equipment from ASARCO's property. 3. All remaining debris including concrete and brick will be left at each area demolished and used as fill in for voids if appropriate. Should ASARCO request debris removed and trucked from site or trucked to another location on site, there would need to be an additional negotiated charge. ASARCO ELP 0010371 Salvageable Material and Conditions: 1. Permits will be supplied by ASARCO. If ECO supplies permits ASARCO will be billed for permit costs. 2. ECO has not included the cost to identify, containerize, load, transport or dispose of any hazardous, asbestos, toxic or regulated material. 3. All electrical, steam, gas lines or other active supply lines will be isolated and capped by owner. 4. All equipment, ferrous and non-ferrous scrap and material removed with free end clear title will become the property of the contractor with the exception of the matte in the reverb furnace. 5. Owner to supply all MSDS sheets peculiar to the plant and suggest proper PPE for contractors personnel. 6. Contractor to supply PPE up to level B. 7. All non-salvageable material generated from these projects will remain the owners responsibility to load and dispose. 8. ASARCO to supply water and facility to wash steel in trucks before shipments are made. Contractor will take no more responsibility than water washing to assure salability of scrap material. 9. Contractors proposals are based on the scrap materials suitability for re-sale as scrap. 10. Air monitoring (as or if needed) will be the owners responsibility. 11. Personal health and medical monitoring will be the contractors responsibility (see American ECO Health and Safety Plan). 12. Should contractor personnel need decon facilities, then owner will allow use of their existing facility. 13. If any areas require dust removal before final demolition, the contractor will create egress and owner will vacuum and remove said dust. 14. ECO's proposal includes no sales tax. If these projects are done individually, and we must move off the site, mobilization will be $10,000.00 and de-mobilization will be $10,000.00 for each project. All necessary insurance will be furnished upon acceptance of this bid. We are enclosing an outline of our health and safety plan, which in its' complete state is a 500 page manual. Should you require the full manual, we will forward one to you upon request. Final charges/payments subject to final review at site between owner and contractor. Enclosed is a separate bid for the asbestos abatement and transite removal. Please be assured that ECO Dismantling appreciates any opportunity to be of service.
