The quarterly residential sampling w ill run for four quarters; annual sampling w ill be conducted once. Li total, 33 residential w ater supplies in Ohio and W est Virginia were proposed for sampling. Eleven residences are located in Ohio and 22 are located in W est Virginia (ten near the W ashington Works facilily/Local landfill, ten near the Dry Run Landfill and two near the Letart Landfill). Table 1 provides survey information available for the residential water supplies and Figure 1 shows the locations o f the residences. ' During 3Q04, eight o f the eleven residential w ater sources in Ohio were sampled. Permission to sample the remaining three residential water sources was granted, however, perm ission was granted too late for these w ater sources to be included in the 3Q04 sampling event. During the 4Q04 sampling event, all eleven residential water sources in Ohio will be sampled, hi addition, nine o f the 22 residential water sources in W est Virginia were sampled during 3Q04. DuPont continues to work with W est Virginia Department o f Environmental Protection (WVDEP) in order to obtain permission from those residents where permission to sample has not yet been obtained. The 3Q04 residential sampling event was conducted between September 13 and September 23, 2004, and a total o f 17 w ater sources were sampled.
