To: Press <Press@ epa.gov> Subject: German M edia Request - Reporting on Zero W aste Dear Sir or Madam, I am Kerstin, a freelance radio journalist for Germany's national public radio station Deutschlandfimk Nova (www.deutschlandfunknova.de). I am coming to the US this fall/winter to do some research on Zero Waste ideas - and I therefore would really like to talk to someone working for the EPA. I would like to know if there are any US wide ideas on how to reduce waste overall and whether there's any programs or support for cities like San Francisco which set themselves zero waste goals. I would like to suggest an interview on Wednesday, November 15th, as I will be in Washington D C.. I have an agreement with the Editor in chief of Deutschlandfunk Nova that a series on Zero Waste ideas will be broadcast next spring - on the air and as a podcast. I would appreciate if somebody from the EPA would take the time to meet me for an interview. Thanks in advance! Take care and hear from you soon!
