The company has a-small paht booth with a face to this booth 15* x 11* high. There, are two fans in the booth. Air velocity measure ments at the fans indicate that they exhaust approximately U,2$0 cubic feet of sir per mnate' The velocity at the face of the booth was too low to be measured but calculated iron the amount of air exhausted by the fans, the face velocity would be 26' per' minute. A test with snoke indicated that- there was a slight air movement into the booth. 1 ` . s, < , . A write-up on spray painting was left with the eempaty. This write up indicates that 15,000 oubic feet of air per minute should be ex hausted for every gallon of peiht used.per.hour oeveral gallons of paint is used per hour, so the amount exhausted should be mor than 30,000 cubic feet of air per minute* The'building in'which the work is done is very large, so much of the peint.vapors would escape through natural ventilation, otherwise, more ventilation would be suggested. .
