We believe it must be pretty much as you outlined in your letter that this man must of had some skin infection or skin that was very sensitive to gasoline. We are very pleased to hear that the lead content of the gasoline is apparently not a factor in this irritation since ordinary gasoline is more irritating than any of the ingredients of Ethyl fluid that may be added to the gasoline. This case may come up again and it is very good information for us. This man is now working for the Great northern Railway although he lost a few days in the early part of June, but he hands seem to be healed up now. We know he went to the Duluth Clinic and we do not believe they told him it was a case of lead poisoning or he would draw our attention to the fact.
