Sinpacn and ayself have read your report on your trip to Pittsbugh for the purpose of attending the meeting held at the Mellon Institute. It is our feeling as a Corporation, that we hardly need to go to the additional expense of joining the group, who are tar make use of the services of the Mellon Institute, for the reason that we have a pretty definite program which yourselves and ourselves are following. Of course there is the angle of getting as many of the indus tries interested as possible in order that proper legisla tion may be enacted, but feel that we could determine what is best for our own industry. By the way, it was only today that Mr. Simpson made the suggestion that possibly the time is ripe to try end get the Asbestos Institute, or at any rate, as many of the manufacturers in the industry, Interested.
