AK Grade - US $520.00 We have investigated the freight costs to both Stockton and Denison and to date have arrived at the following: Stockton, California 1. Piggyback truck with rail US $1000 per truck carrying 20 metric tonnes = US $50 per tonne. 2. Ocean container via port of San Francisco, $1100 per container, 18 metric tonnes per container = US $61.per tonne. We can physically load 20 metric tonnes per container but we are advised that, at this time, the shipping company does not have the on-carrying capability of 20 metric tonnes in a con tainer.
