Chicago Plant - 12/1/75
Safety Talks
Your primary responsibility as plant superintendent Is to assure that a dynamic safety program Is continuously carried out with all employees dedicating themselves to total
compllanee with corporate divisional and plant safety philosophy, policy and responsibility.
I firmly believe that the strongest point of any safety program Is the communication between the shift foremen and his men, which Is why It has been establI shed that each
foreman will hold two safety talks per month and each hourly employee will attend at least two of these meetings.
Here Is the 1975 box score through Novemberi

elastic straps (Wilson straps) to keep respirator fitting properly. ear plugs to each man to reduce decibel level. Banasiak, Cross and Powers were absentees. They were briefed but not as proficiently as they would be had they attended. The meeting was quite informative and well received. At this writing dated October 31, 1975, there are apparent signs of improvement in the majority of the men. The others need more supervision and more training.
