At X. Pittsburgh, Vestlngbouse stated unequivocally that a battery-powered boa eaa be made and that tbe eotora and necessary eolld etate cantrole are available. They strongly recommended, however, that tbe project be taken to tbe Federal Boulting and Urban Developaeat Agency (H.U.D.) They believe tbe project will end with a total coat froa 1 to 3 elllloe dollare.
According to Vestlngbouse, H.U.D. could and probably wodSflnanee two-thirds
of such a project. Under tbe Lev bwever H.U.D. aurt deal only vftb a local govern ment or Its ageoclee. A City would qualify with private organ1 eat 100a eupplylng equipment, labor and/or fund*.
