Joseph Hettinger, Standard Oil Company, Louisville, Kentucky. .rmingham, Alabama Plant Dear Mr. Hettinger: We have been delayed in sending you the report of our examina tion of the above man for the reason that ve have been attempting to obtain some additional analytical results on his blood and urine. The physical examination gave a reasonable and adequate explanation of his difficulties, and ve saw no clinical reason for suspecting that lead absorption vas a factor in his present difficulties. However, on analyzing the blood and urine ve found a relatively high blood concentration vhich did not seem to jibe with the low normal urinary lead concentration. In view of the importance of this factor in the man's history, it seemed advisable not to ignore this, but to check it in an effort to explain the discrepancy in the two results. We should not like to make a final report until this has been done. We are attempting to obtain additional samples through one of the physicians so -as not to make it necessary for Mr. Williams to return here again. However, we have not had a response from the local doctor, H. P. Hart, but I hope we shall be able to get this taken care of promptly.
