Forced Draft units may also be had for Oil-Only firing (Model 53 as described below) or Gas-Only firing. All are factory assembled, wired and tested, complete with all controls mounted in dust type cabinet, ready for inexpensive installa tion on any standard size and type of boiler. They deliver all the air required for efficient combustion without need for an induced-draft fan or a tall chimney. MODEL 53 METERING PUMP BURNERS Illustrated at right is Model 53 Oil Burner with conventional drive. These fully-automatic, heavy-duty Johnson Burners are built with a positive-dis placement Metering Pump, a 3-Way Magnetic Oil Valve and a high efficiency Suction Pump. They automatically maintain a fixed Air-Fuel-Ratio .regard less of variations in oil temperature and viscosity. They start up readily and operate automatically even when the oil in tank and lines is cold and hard to pump. They are easy to set and control. Firing rate can be determined by reading the setting of the Metering Pump Quadrant. They are available in 8 sizes ranging from 25 to 400 hp and from 3500 to 56,000 sq ft Steam Radiation, nominal ratings. Under good operating conditions, maxi mum firing rate may be total Metering Pump delivery or 125 per cent of nominal rating. MODEL 53 WITH BELT DRIVE Shown third from top is Model 53 Oil Burner with Belt Drive for use in in stallations using 50 cycle current, to maintain 60 cycle speed, and on installa tions requiring additional capacity. These burners are available in 9 sizes up to 500 hp. MODEL 53 COMBINATION OIL-ORGAS BURNERS Shown at bottom right. Will produce worth while fuel economies by offering a choice of fuels.
