Bill Moore stated compliance to O.S.H.A. standards was very necessary. Armco would be glad to talk about what is required, but would not accept any responsiblity for compliance. Cost for these areas would be in the hands of Purchasing. Armco might increase the fee or do a facility to provide these services. We cannot mix contaminants and this fact could complicate Armco providing the facility. 6. Mike Sullivan stated maybe they can cross paths but have separate lockers, etc. 7. Mark Brewer stated that O.S.H.A. said if this is an off site clean-up, there would have to be two buses. 8. Mike said that he did not believe that this could not be worked around. 9. Bill Moore stated Armco has fought some of these require ment interprepations in the past. The legalities of these items is our only concern. 10. The old open hearth locker room is available. There is union and non-union use of this area. 11. How would the lockers be designated? Bill Moore addressed this: There would not be a plan for lump sum work. For Armco's work the work load would be assessed and assignments made. 12. Bill Moore stated that maybe long terms for employees on these jobs may not be the best way to handle this problem after 30 days of work, two physicals per year are required for each employee. 13. Bill and Mike talked about the history of what happened at Armco previously in the coke plant area. 14. The construction standards we were cited under were very broad. 15. The respirators are in compliance and Armco is ready to pay for the additional cost. 16. Armco does not wish to provide the co-respirators stations. 17. Armco is aware of the problem and we will be back with the determination of the lawyers and try to .resolve the pro blems after we can better define them. BRB/lcl McGCon 3567
