He then asked to whom he might write to seek modification of such adverse publicity and I suggested that he write to you as Secretary of the Council on Industrial Health, of which I was interested to learn that he had never heard. I therefore believe that you will shortly hear from Eiker and this is written to let you 3cnow that, while I gave them your name, I suggested no such modifica tion as they are likely to ask, nor do I think there Ti o m T* w * n y t mhcy admitted that, once the tablets are placed on the market, they will have no control over their misuse, and my experience in such matters has been long and sad enough to tell me that only the most ntrongly worded admonitions are likely to have any effect in come quarters.
