DuPont de Nemours and Company (DuPont) has agreed to perform pursuant to the Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) entered into between DuPont and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The ILSI Research Foundation has been selected as Panel Administrator for this Project. The Panel will be charged with review and evaluation of data from analytical characterization and biodegradation studies and will provide input to EPA on an advisory basis. It is expected that the Panel will have three two-day meetings and several conference calls beginning in 2010, and will complete its work by October 2011. Scientists with expertise in biodegradation testing, environmental fate o f polymers, laboratory analysis and characterization o f polymers, and fluorotelomer/fluoropolymer chemistry are sought as potential Panel members, as well as those with experience evaluating data from semi continuous activated sludge (SCAS) and related studies. A detailed curriculum vitae and completed Conflicts o f Interest Questionnaire must be submitted to SEP Panel@ilsi.org by October 26, 2009 for each nominated Panel member. Self-nominations by qualified scientists are being accepted.
