The aforementioned trade associations represent the actors of the pharmaceutical supply chain, who are responsible for the development, manufacture, and supply of medicinal products in the EU. Earlier today at the ECHA webinar, reference was made to a guidance note on information to be submitted during the public consultation. The guidance indicates that insufficient detail on several PFAS uses including medicinal products has been provided and information on socio-economic impact is requested. To help the ECHA Committees, we would like clarification on the financial and patient impact information that should be provided during the public consultation. Also, during a CEFIC workshop, on Thursday 30 March, when we discussed the socio-economic information [IEE requirements with it was recommended that we speak with you. As recommended at the ECHA webinar we would like to submit appropriate information as early as possible. We are amenable to a face-to-face meeting in Bilthoven, or to speak over a video call, at your earliest convenience. It is recognised that this is a very busy time for you, and we greatly appreciate any consideration given to this request.
