The results of the monitorings for VCM exposure are now complete for the Allentown Laboratories.
The two new employees were monitored, and S. Stocker was remonitored as per requirement. I am attaching the original list and new values. The area we anticipated providing the largest problem was also remomtorea again. Laboratory iyu snowed u. 184 ppm tor 8 hour TWA and S. Stocker has shown 0.0128 ppm per 8 hour TWA. He now has two consecutive results below .5 ppm action level. It can therefore be concluded that no regulated areas exist at this time in the Allentown Laboratories.
The slurry handling procedure that was responsible for the one high reading on S. Stocker was changed. All operations are to be conducted in hoods. The high value appeared because slurry was handled improperly In open beakers outside of the hooded areas. This situation has been rectified - as the last two monitorings on him indicate.
