I have been out of the office for about three weeks with the grippe, and am still working at home. Mr. Drinker is out of town on Maritime Commission business, so I am running the Journal under difficulties. The articles are to be bound together and published as a symposium, making up the February number. I think it is an ex cellent idea to have the reprints bound together also, and I will suggest it to the head of the Waverly Press. If he does not wish to do this, however, and prefers- to have them separate, your order for separate reprints will be filled as you directed. I will ask him to let me know as soon as possible what he plans to do, and I will then write you at oijce on hearing from him. I think by this time you should have received the remaining galley-proofs of your articles, as I have received duplicate copies here. I am very grateful to you for, your courtesy in attend ing to the various matters of detail which I asked you to do. I hope very much that the articles are printed to your satisfaction.
