French Beeves, ?ice President and Treasurer J. W. Gardiner, Vic President Morris H. Merritt, Secretary The meatlag was called to order by Mr, S. French Beeves, who presided, and Mr. Morris H. Merritt reported the minutes of the meeting. The minute of our meeting of February 27 were read and approved. In accordance with the resolution adopted at our regular meeting on January JO Mr. Beeves reported that to date only four loans had been granted in connection with our Retirement Annuity Plan and that the total of these loans only amounted to #94.QO. Such loans represent only a very small percentage of those employee who originally expected to apply and our action in being willing to grant such loans would therefore seem to indicate the wisdom of meeting the wishes of our employees and thereby establishing s fine esprit de corps. Sir. McArthur* letter of March 2 regarding visits of various groups to our factory was read. He complimented the factory extensively on the good will developed by their ex^jrleae' courtesy to our visitors. Mr. Gardiner submitted some figures on the costs of linseed oil shipments through our various warehouses and will submit a furtherreport later on. Hr. Gardiner also reported that Mr. Stuart, secretary of the Fainting and Peeorating Contractors Association of Pennsylvania had returned the check for #50.00 which we had sent him for the combined dues of the National Lead and Oil Company of Pennsylvania and John T. Lewis & Bros. Company. It was decided that Mr. Gardiner should ask Mr. Stuart to take up this matter with the committee of his Association who handles such matters as otherwise it say be necessary for us to resign entirely from this Association, There being no further business, upon motion the meeting adjourned.
