North Dakota is working to complete a water project, which would use a buried pipeline to transport Missouri River water through the McClusky Canal to central and eastern North Dakota. The project will require cooperation with the Department of the Interior to obtain a water supply contract and to complete an environmental assessment. Mayor Mahoney would like to discuss these issues and timely completion of the project so that all communities in North Dakota can have access to a reliable water supply. Please let me know if you are available for a meeting the morning of Monday March 20th or Tuesday March 21st. Mayor Mahoney's bio is attached. Thank you for your time, Emily J.
